We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Security Engineer to join our Information Security Team in Manchester. Reporting into the Head of Data Governance and Cyber Operations you will play a critical role in building and implementing a group wide information security framework. You will manage a team of analysts to implement a framework of best practice to cover all elements of information security including IT systems and supporting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data, assets and services. Responsibilities: · Configuring managing and monitor security capabilities · Escalating and investigating security incidents, and assisting in developing, testing and implementing security · Working with technical, infrastructure and application delivery teams on Security initiatives · Providing security architecture and support across all applications/servers. · Analysis of infrastructure, and security planning for future projects/growth. · Performing security investigation, diagnosis, and issue remediation · Managing role based access privileges · Facilitating meetings with various technical teams and third party vendors. · Supporting and execute system/application installation, patching, rollouts, releases and upgrades · Participating in Security Incident Management and Disaster Recovery activities. · Working with cloud solutions (Iaas, PaaS, SaaS) and Azure About You: Previous experience in a similar role. Experience of managing a team of Information Security Analysts Security Architecture & Design experience Good knowledge of Endpoint Security Network infrastructure experience Previous Security Monitoring and incident handling Vulnerability management exposure Security Operations experience Excellent Verbal and written skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels Experience of promoting Cyber Security Awareness across the Business Experience of working with both internal customers and 3 rd party suppliers Knowledge of ITIL principles is desirable.
