Overview

Lead Developer – C# and Web API Our client is a fast-growing innovative company who are looking to drive their Development team. They are looking for people who believe they have the imagination to design the best user experience combined with the technical expertise to develop robust and responsive line of business applications. Initially the role will focus the Maritime applications (scheduling tools), these products have been designed to optimise the turn-around of vessels to increase terminal efficiency at ports/terminals, the product is powered by an optimization algorithm. You will be taking on a key role within the product, being a key resource providing expert knowledge across the back end of the product. You will have strong experience of business-critical operational computer systems, as well as a good understanding of the performance and scalability challenges that can present themselves in technically challenging environments. Skills/Qualifications re role of Lead Software Developer H ighly motivated and driven individual with high energy and a passion for the company’s products and people Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able tocommunicate effectively at all levels within an organisation and with customers Experienced in leading a small team and managing them to deliver projects on time and to budget Highly organised and with the ability to priorities and plan to set timelines Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Strong mathematical skills Highly innovative, able to provide ideas and use their initiative Methodical approach to work with great attention to detail Very strong C# and Web API experience Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Maths or a technical subject or equivalent technical experience Main job role responsibilities for Lead Software Developer will include: Design key areas of the product Development of new core product functionality Functional testing of own code, and associated bug-fixing Creation of high-quality technical documentation Providing guidance and mentoring for more junior colleagues Maintenance of the product and technical support Lead and develop the software development team Design and develop high quality software Provide expert knowledge across the back end of the Product Work with the product teams to understand their requirements.
