This is an exclusive role for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer / Project Manager with a track record of developing technically sound solutions for real-world commercial applications. This is a highly varied role -the Senior Electronics Engineer will be working on a wide range of unique projects as both Project Manager and key technical contributor. At any given point in time you could be planning a new project or engaged in hands-on development of circuit level digital and analogue hardware for applications such as novel medical devices, or a complex instrumentation system; or you could be researching an emerging and potentially 'disruptive' new technology for possible commercial exploitation. To be considered for the role of Senior Electronics Engineer / Product Development Specialist / Project Manager you need the following: A 2.1 or 1st class BEng or MEng degree in Electronic Engineering (or possibly Applied Physics, Computer Science, or other closely related subject) from a Russell group university or similar 'world class' academic institution. At least 5 years' experience developing novel products / systems for commercial application. Solid Digital Electronics design skills using FPGA's, discrete logic, etc Ideally (but not essentially) some experience in low power analog based sensor systems, wireless communication protocols, and/or low power SMPS (e.g. for battery based remote monitoring systems). Experience of technical project management and/or project leadership.
