Software Developer in Test - Gherkin, Cucumber, Automation Test, Continuous Delivery - Leicester - Salary up to £55,000 - Benefits include flexible working hours, 25 days holiday, free fresh fruit and drinks, pension, medical care plus much more The role I am working with a Software Consultancy in Leicester who are currently expanding and looking for a SDET (Gherkin, Cucumber, Automation Test, Continuous Delivery) to join a fast paced and progressive test team. As the SDET (Gherkin, Cucumber, Automation Test, Continuous Delivery) you will have experience working in an Agile, Scrum environment to develop test scripts from scratch for automation testing. Ideally the SDET (Gherkin, Cucumber, Automation Test, Continuous Delivery) will have worked with developers and project managers and have the confidence and knowledge to direct test cases in the right way. You will have experience specifically with automation testing using selenium, cucumber and gherkin with JavaScript, ideally (Java, C# are also considered). As the SDET (Gherkin, Cucumber, Automation Test, Continuous Delivery) you will be working in house, but there is an opportunity and possibility that you will be working on client site maybe once a day. This also means that you will ideally have experience and knowledge of working client facing. Role Requirements: Writing manual and automation test scripts Automation experience with selenium, gherkin, cucumber Experience with JavaScript (Java or C# will be considered) Working experience with Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Self Driven Agile, Scrum experience Functional testing The company Although the company are a consultancy they take pride in looking after their colleagues; you will have the opportunity to work from home at least one day a week after probation, you will receive flexible working hours and a great fun environment to work in.
