This is a superb opportunity for an experienced and proactive Technical Lead / Senior Developer with hands on development experience, to join an ambitious and innovative software company in the Midlands with a unique approach to development. Role will be spit as follows: 50% Leading the team 25% Architectural/Technical designs 25% Getting involved with coding and technical work Experience required: Appreciation of architectural and technical designs Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design with the ability to code where necessary Hands on development experience in C/C++ or Java Ability to carry out code review activities Experience mentoring and guiding junior colleagues Nice to have: Worked with other languages such as Python or JavaScript Knowledge of Linux systems Knowledge with database systems such as MySQL or MongoDB Knowledge of Source Control Management Systems such as Git and SVN The Benefits 25 days holidays plus statutory holidays and increase with length of service Pension scheme Lunchtime finish on a Friday Flexible working including options of working from home Excellent career development opportunities Our client can interview and hire ASAP - please apply for an immediate response and informal discussion.
