Overview
Alexander Chapel are currently working with services based in Erdington & Wolverhampton who require Supervising Social Workers, you will act as a link worker for Foster Carers and looked after children. The role of a Supervising Social Worker is an important position that brings together the needs of looked after children and young people, the support and management of foster carers, liaison with the placing authority and the administration and delivery of the service. As an experienced Social Worker you will be familiar with duties such as: · Undertaking initial visits & Assessments. · Taking lead and carrying out local recruitment activities and analyse the effectiveness of methods used. · Ensure that at all times you are safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In order to be applicable for this role you must hold valid HCPC registration and pin whilst also holding experience of at least 2 years within a Social Worker role.
