Overview
Are you a newly qualified or recently qualified lawyer looking to develop a career in commercial and contract law? A busy central London Borough Council are looking for a Contracts Lawyer to join their team. This opportunity is initially a 3 month locum contract with the view to go onto a rolling basis. The Contracts Lawyer will be within the Contracts Team and will be preparing terms and conditions for tenders and bespoke agreements, as well as a variety of commercial matters such as data protection, intellectual property, freedom of information and state aid law. The work also includes a significant element of construction and regeneration contracts. This is a great opportunity for a newly or recently qualified lawyer, or someone looking to start a career in commercial and contract law. The Council have a great central location and are easily accessible from public transport links, they also offer flexible working arrangements, such as 1 day working from home.
