Overview
Head of Infrastructure (Cloud Ruby Linux Go). One of the largest data-streaming companies in the world is seeking an accomplished technologist to head up their growing Infrastructure division and enhance their capabilities to shape the future of the internet. They are responsible for streaming billions of real-time messages to millions of end-users for thousands of developers across the world. As the Head of Infrastructure you'll make an impact through owning all aspects of the infrastructure services which support the compute capacity, networking and all ancillary services required to power the core services and support the software development lifecycle. You'll have the opportunity to construct an in depth understanding of the product you are working on through end to end involvement from inception to production of consumer apps, with the autonomy to influence development as you see fit. In this Head of Infrastructure role you'll promote the adoption of best practice across your team of talented engineers, inspiring a culture of technical excellence in your work and across the team, ensuring all code created is fit for purpose.
