Ref: 13532 Finance Assistant Newton Abbot Full time, permanent £22,500 My client, a local service provider based in Newton Abbot, is seeking to appoint an experienced full time Finance Assistant to join their finance team. Reporting into the Finance Manager and working as part of a supportive and collaborative finance function, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for the following: Processing weekly and monthly payroll. Sales Ledger and credit control. Cash Book and banking. Bank reconciliations. Purchase ledger. Processing expense claims. General administration duties as requested by Finance Manager. In order to be successfully considered for the Finance Assistant position you must have: Experience of working in a similar position within a fast-paced finance department. Excellent communication skills. Great attention to detail. Excellent IT skills with experience of various accountancy software packages (knowledge of Sage Payroll will be advantageous).
