Overview
Are you an experienced and skilled Field Service Engineer with a mechanical and electrical background looking for a new challenge? Do you have process and field experience from the water industry? Yes? We’d like to hear from you. About Us: We are an independent, well-established, and growing Company designing, manufacturing, installing and commissioning pure and ultra pure water systems. Our clients are varied and include: Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Cosmetics & Toiletries, Chemicals, Food & Beverages, Electronics, Surface Finishing (such as Aerospace), etc. Role: We will consider applicants who are located ideally anywhere south of Manchester and north of Reading. This is a role where you will work mainly from home, travelling around the UK to our clients most days. Because of the travelling in the role, a flexible approach is required to your working day. More specifically, you will: · Carry out planned installation and commissioning, servicing and maintenance of our water purification systems; · Represent the Company and provide great customer service; · Complete reports to our standards; · Be open and responsive to commercial opportunities. Qualifications & Skills: The successful candidate will ideally have: · At least 2-3 years of related experience, ideally field-based installation and commissioning of water purification systems; · A good knowledge of reverse osmosis (RO) and deionisation (DI) water systems; · Strong mechanical and electrical skills; · Experience of working with electrical systems and equipment; · An understanding of PLC’s & control systems; · An IET 17 th or 18 th Edition; · A demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication (English); · Expertise in fault finding, problem analysis, and problem solving.
