Mechanical Design Engineer (3D) Scarborough Up to £35,000 DOE 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Pension Days: 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 13:00 Fridays Mechanical Design Engineer required for a well-established global manufacturer. The Mechanical Design Engineer role will suit a candidate from any manufacturing background with 3D design experience ideally on SolidWorks. Previous experience with design in machinery design is required by the correct candidate to apply for this role. Candidates with 3D SolidWorks experience are preferred. The Mechanical Design Engineer role involves a combination of both designing from concept and re-modification of the company’s existing range of products. You will be using 3D software mainly SolidWorks. You will be creating engineering designs and detailed drawings using the latest engineering innovations and technology to match customer specification. Working in design team of 4 you will be liaising with internal teams to achieve the successful manufacture of the final machines.
