Engineering Supervisor - Days Reference: Jo1474/PL/TJ Location: Wakefield Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 Pension Days Based The Company My client is a world leader in the design and development of specialist high performance textiles and has been established for over 120 years. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the engineering & management knowledge already within their current team. Key Skills · Apprentice Trained Engineer · Experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory Capacity · Working Knowledge of PPM Systems The Role You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in engineering and have experience working within project work within a planned and preventative maintenance schedule, working with equipment such as textile, packaging, conveyors and processing machinery within a high speed automated environment. In addition to this you will have the experience and ability to lead a team of multi skilled engineers, and have the responsibility for the overall maintenance budgets and suppliers as well as the maintenance teams as needs be, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of this high speed manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will also have experience of an automated production facility, utilising Continuous Improvement projects and the ability to work within and supervise a team or autonomously as required, you will report directly in to the Engineering Manager, this will lead to a fantastic opportunity to progress your career to senior management within this secure organisation.
