Overview

The Information Security Engineering Team is responsible for life-cycle management of Information Security technologies, requirements specification, design architecture, and inputting into technical standards, whilst also being involved in multidisciplinary projects within Technology. As Team Lead you will focus on strategic initiatives and operational management to deliver sustainable capability improvement over time. Your key focus areas are maintenance and optimization of our services/capabilities; development of team members and coordination and integration with global teams. What are my primary responsibilities? Participate in setting requirements and design architecture for Information Security systems and platforms Life-cycle management of incumbent Information Security systems and platforms including Commissioning, Configuration, Compliance, Troubleshooting, Upgrades, Documentation and Decommissioning Perform day-to-day support of Information Security solutions such as monitoring, auditing, and maintenance to ensure coverage and optimal performance Assist in setting Information Security requirements and contribute to design reviews in the context of Technology and Business projects Work with teams within Technology to ensure appropriate technical standards are documented and enforced Research and analysis of Information Security technologies based on threat landscape What exposure are you looking for? Demonstrate the ability to make key security design decisions based on complexity and risk of the projects. Must have in-depth understanding of Information Security controls based on core enterprise Information Security frameworks and methodologies. Familiarity of regulatory and legal requirements that affect Information Security (E.g. GDPR). Advanced knowledge within Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems. Perimeter security controls – firewall, IDS/IPS, network access control and network segmentation. Knowledge within router, switch and VLAN security; wireless security is desirable. Security concepts related to DNS, routing, authentication, VPN, and proxy services Research and analytical skills are desired. Previous experience in Financial Services is not essential but would be advantageous. What about me?
