Overview

Role Profile: The role of the Senior Installation and Provisioning Engineer is to provide operational support as and when required to the Regional Installation and Provisioning Manager in ensuring that projects have been supplied with the correct materials required and to drive compliance with the project deliverables. The role will report in to the Regional Installation and Provisioning Manager but will work closely with the Project team to capture the project specifications. The Senior Installation and Provisioning Engineer, will need to be flexible, to fulfil a dynamic and fluid program. The key objectives for the role are: To Take ownership of the team in delivering solutions that can be deployed in the roadside and TS environments, reviewing designs and feeding back any issues to the Regional Installation and Provisioning Manager. To support with BoMs creation as and when required, demand is loaded on to Oracle to ensure equipment is delivered on time. To Cover when the Regional Installation and Provisioning Manager is away from the business or needs meeting cover. Identify risks and opportunities to improve on site performance. Read onsite delivery and support the delivery team. Undertake site inspections and close out any no conformances when raised. People management skills, organisation and planning skills. Demonstrate a proactive approach that ensures flexibility and identifies continuous improvement. Customer focussed and able to deal with a vast number of stakeholders. Responsibilities include: When required of Reviewing passive designs and providing feedback on issues found. Ownership of Produce BoM for project works. Attend Forward Schedule of Change meetings when required, highlighting any training shortfalls / issues where identified. Undertake the role of a QS and be accountable for ensuring portfolios are maintained. Support the Regional Installation and Provisioning Manager, agree and arrange delivery dates with logistics and project delivery team. Unsure all recovered equipment from site is tested and managed on the Recovered Asset Database. Tork with NOC teams to agree cutover dates and review operational clashes with other planned works. Typical Deliverables : Support Regional Installation and Provisioning Manager where needed and manage and maintain BoM variations to design where required. Take ownership and support the Regional Installation and Provisioning Manager with stock levels through pro-active demand management using the Forward Schedule of Change and the TAF register. Create and Manager to Maintain installation trackers to manage and monitor the delivery process and ensure compliance. Support Regional Installation and Provisioning Manager Create Pews for the Delivery installation and commissioning team and manage these with the NOC Weekly updates to the Project Plan identifying any changes to the plan. Be accountable for the QS function within the team, and manage engineers HEA portfolios Be responsible for on site development of engineers and assist in that training where required. Business Operations Skills - Experience: Experience of the NRTS network topology and the passive & active components. Experience of working on the NRTS network and an excellent understanding of the operational environment and the constraints Experience of managing logistics processes Good planning and forecasting skills particularly around equipment fulfilment.
