Overview
A world premier Investment Fund is looking for several Business Intelligence Developers/Engineers. This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys process analysis with a focus on automation, and has a passion for building user-friendly, scalable, robust and secure reporting frameworks. Ideally the candidate also has experience building trading desk reports, regulatory and compliance reports for financial services institutions. Joining the firm will put individuals in a position to be at the forefront of defining best practices, as well as building best of breed solutions for one of the world’s preeminent financial institutions. Responsibilities · Develop, test, and help deploy and support a scalable solution for report generation, attestation, artifact managing, and testing · Work with the Reporting Services team and with the Business Controls and Trading Desks to develop support for a fully automated lifecycle for reports’ submission and response workflows · Work with report developers on maintaining the consistency of development standards · Work with the Quality Assurance team on integrating the report development into the state-of-the-art QA framework Qualifications · Financial Services experience, with regulatory reporting experience highly preferred (e.g., OATS, CAT, MiFID II, Blue Sheets, Supervisory Control Reports) · Experience designing, developing (coding), testing, deploying, documenting, and validating supervisory, and exception reports overseeing areas like trading activity (examples: best execution, order marking, information barriers, transaction cost analysis, potential market abuse) · Experience with trading workflows (order-execution-settlement lifecycle, order types), trading technologies (market data feeds, market access and connectivity), market structure (exchanges, dark pools, Reg NMS), and products (equities, options, futures, swaps, treasuries) · Experience with automated trading environments a plus · A minimum of 4-6 years engineering experience related to large-scale reporting development · Experience in using relational, non-relational, and streaming data for reporting · Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Technology, or other related field), Master’s degree or similar graduate studies in these areas is a plus · Databases: SQL Server , Snowflake · Languages: SQL and Python is required and C++ is a plus · Data streaming/queueing frameworks: Kafka · Containerization: Kubernetes · Strong communication and presentation skills, project management, and relationship-building skills to manage internal stakeholder relationships · Maintains high level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism For more information please forward a Word CV in confidence This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89841641
