Overview
We are looking for a SAP Portal Developer to work with a global consultancy, to be based on site with a Public Sector client. This will be a 6 month contract based in Worthing, paying up to £450 per day, In Scope of IR35 (via Umbrella). The Software Developer will be required to develop, support and deliver all SAP portal related technical tasks. This role will suit a well experienced SAP Portal developer who specialised in Enterprise Portal development to support ECC6.0 systems. The ideal candidate will be eligible for SC security clearance. Other responsibilities will include: Carrying out development in accordance with the agreed requirements and development standards Testing of products in accordance with the test strategy to ensure that they are fit for purpose Assisting the Team Leader in examining packages of work and giving realistic timescales for completion Completion of work allocated within agreed time, cost and quality criteria and providing progress reports on assigned work as required Management and control of problems and change within their area of responsibility as requested by the Team Leader, including negotiation with other teams as necessary Prompt escalation of problems, issues and risks as necessary Playing an active part in Process improvement, awareness of and compliance with all relevant quality processes and procedures, including completion of all the specified quality records Skills/Technologies: SAP Enterprise Portal CSS/MSS development for portal themes Webdynpro for JAVA Agile methodologies, JIRA, CONFLUENCE REVTRAC, SAP Solution Manager Advanced SAP Portal Content Administrator with portal configuration skills Java 8 development experience within SAP portal Warehouse Design If you are interested and would like more information please apply now This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89841337
