Web Developer, HTML5, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular 9 Are you a great HTML5/Typescript developer looking to get into building financial trading systems? Then you have found the right role Our roles are technically challenging and we operate an open, supportive, friendly environment that is free from office politics. We are based on the City/ Shoreditch border just south of London's "silicon roundabout" as our clients are mostly based nearby in the City. We build bespoke software systems for investment banks, financial exchanges and data distribution companies and specialise in advanced user interfaces (usually HTML5). We currently have several open positions for new developers to join us. If you are passionate about building high performance web apps then we would love to hear from you. You don't need any financial services experience, although it would be useful. Day to day you will be working on designing and building new HTML5 trading systems for our clients. This will involve: Working under delivery team leads to deliver features of a large complex application. Working as part of a feature development sub-team, designing and writing code with an emphasis on readability, quality and automated testing. Designing real time APIs to run over messaging systems. Working closely with the in-project test teams to investigate issues and work through problems as they arise. Working with our client's delivery teams to integrate and test components together. Job requirements: Experience of building applications using one of the popular HTML5 UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue). Extensive TypeScript experience. Passionate about building systems that are supportable and maintainable long term. Experience of working on large codebases that span multiple components. Experience of performance testing HTML5 applications using profiling tools. Personal Skills: English language fluency. Calm tempered with the ability to juggle different tasks at the same time. Strong desire to see everyone succeed as part of a team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex problems to different audiences. Are you up for the challenge?
