We have recently launched a new cloud-based platform, increasing speed and efficiency for our current customers and our vast panel of lenders. The new API gateway will make the business agile and even more responsive to the ever changing lending market, we want to make our products available across multiple channels, including web, mobile and phone. Your key responsibilities as our Lead Power BI Developer/Report Writer: Engage with the business to design and develop insightful visualised dashboards within Power BI for the key areas including our Operations, Finance, Marketing and Digital teams The ability to prove or disprove business hypothesis by providing measurable or concrete analytical insight requirements, gathering from key senior stakeholders and having the ability to model and visualise data in an agile way Be the Lead Power BI thought leader, run think tanks, drive the analytical process and own the Power BI development road map. What will it take to be successful? Are you an experienced Power BI Developer ready to move onto your next role? Our ideal Lead Power BI Developer/Report Writer must have strong numerical/mathematical skills, modelling, Power BI visualisation and report writing to develop more statistically driven insight. Be able to push the boundaries of visualisation and close the resource gap, not only service BAU reporting workloads but provide robust insight. As well as: At least 3 years hands-on work experience optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, test ability and standardization Database Technology Experience: Oracle, SQL Server or equivalent Experience in writing SQL Queries Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Passionate about BI and report writing Experience of using Credit Reference Agency or Open Banking data and AWS Redshift (Desirable) Machine learning, modelling experience and AWS, Python or R with a desire to be challenged and develop in this area.
