Are you a self-motivated, confident and passionate Program Manager with the ability to drive New Product Development? In this role you’ll be… an integral part of the Markem-Imaje Thermal Transfer Product Division, accountable for the cross-functional project development activities from technical feasibility to qualified prototypes, to delivering innovative new product to the market. You’ll have an opportunity to… work with senior internal and external personnel in an international cross-functional environment to meet the company's technological and project goals whilst delivering highly complex thermal transfer coding products You should possess… at least 10 years experience in New Product Development, with at least 5 of those years as a practicing engineer. Principal Activities/Duties/Responsibilities: Accountable for delivery of technical solutions to ensure products are available for manufacture and sale in line with business priorities, quality, timeline an cost objectives. Lead definition of the business case and validate project specifications with all stakeholders prior to initiating the phase Deliver projects through all phases of the development process including the specification, , integration, verification, qualification, field trials & launch Identify, manage and mitigate project risks Identify and provide strong leadership to resolve project related issues and escalate as required Delivery of projects keeping to the project budgeted resources and expenses during the development phases. Lead the execution of the necessary partnerships and supplier agreements, including governance agreements and subsequent performance management Ensure the appropriate level of the technology readiness and risk levels prior to initiation of product development projects. Education and/or Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and industry-related work experience. Formal project management training preferred, with experience in NPD Experience in development of complex electro- products with embedded software Experience in an international company (markets and locations) Strong business acumen and communication skills Strong leadership, results driven and conflict resolution experience This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89840505
