Overview
Do you have structural & RC detailing experience? Our client, a well-established consultancy in Cardiff is looking to grow their team. Established for over 30 years, they have a strong client base and are on a variety of frameworks. They cover civils, structures and project/cost management but with a heavy weighting on civils. Typical projects would highways, town re-generations, airports, building structures & bridges. Their typical projects generally range from £3-7m but can go up to £30m and above. Whilst they do work on your typical structural & civil projects, they also work on other things such as green energy work, animal waste plants, heritage railways, horse tram tracks, promenades and hydroelectric stations just to name a few. You will have at least 4/5 years' experience in a CAD technician role. You will have structural and RC detailing experience as well as being well rounded and keen to pursue a career. You will be interested in working on the slightly weird and wacky projects which will keep the role exciting and varied. You will have extensive AutoCAD experience as well as some exposure to Revit and perhaps Civils 3D & Micro drainage. You could come from a predominantly civils or structural background but we would really like someone with RC detailing experience so having this will be a huge bonus.
