Overview

Totum Partners are delighted to be working with a Magic Circle firm in their search for a Partners' Remuneration Manager. This role will be responsible for the management of relationship with the global finance team, and individual overseas offices, to ensure that accounting for partner related transactions with overseas offices are effectively controlled and recorded and is compliant with internal policies. This role will also manage and review calculations for the partner profit allocations and priority share balances included in the Firm's monthly management accounts and oversee the firm's annual profit points by individual, department and office, including maintaining the forward projections in connection with the Global Equity Plan. The Partners' Remuneration Manager will also develop and maintain relationships with Practice Group COOs and local office CFOs to provide a first point of contact for partner/department related queries. This role will also have a focus on Partner Reward and have responsibility for accurate preparation and review of all partner and retired partner payrolls, including management of the day to day work, coaching and development of the Partner Payroll Specialist. Other responsibilities include Year-end work including partner profit share and tax equalisation calculations and preparing and review of annual individual partner current account statements. Applicants must be Qualified Accountants with significant post qualification experience of taking ownership for delivery of key work products and managing and develop a team to provide a high level of 'client service' in a global environment. You must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in providing clear straightforward summaries to partners regarding complex financial data either by email, phone call or face to face. The ideal applicant must have strong numeracy and IT skills, including knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Word and the ability to adapt to using unfamiliar software packages - Particular emphasis is placed on experience of Excel.
