Overview
Permanent Quantity Surveyor role, Nottinghamshire, Main Contractor, D&B & Refurb projects. £35k- £55k Your new company My client are a successful and established main contractor who are based in Nottinghamshire. Due to a sustained period of increased workload and future pipeline, they are seeking a permanent Quantity Surveyor to join their ranks on a permanent basis. Due to the levels of projects ranging in value and sector, the organisation would be interested in candidates from Assistant level to Project/ Senior Quantity Surveyor. Your new role You will be working as part of the Commercial team who undertake exciting and diverse projects across multiple sectors. These projects are in both the private and public sector and will involve refurbishments from £300k up to new build works of £5m in value. Dependant on the level of your experience you will either be assisting with or running 2/3 live projects at anyone time. The role will involve subcontractor procurement, CVR's, Cost reporting, valuing work packages etc. You will also be client facing and be attending site meetings as required. What you'll need to succeed You will have a strong understanding of the construction sector and experience of working for a main contractor in both new build and refurbishment works. You will ideally have a Construction related degree qualification or demonstrable career history as a Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Project Quantity Surveyor.
