Overview
APC, MRICS, Nottingham, Quantity Surveyor, local authority, not for profit organisation Your new company You will work for a council based in the East Midlands. This council have won awards for being a great employer, as well as offering the opportunity to work on leading projects across the city. Your new role You will work as a Quantity Surveyor based in their Design and Construction team. You will work on large scale commercial projects, including leisure, retail and industrial. You will work with contract administration, estimating budgets, cost planning, specification writing and much more What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have a Quantity Surveying background, with experience in both pre and post contract work. You will ideally have experience in publicly owned properties as well as a thorough understanding of construction contracts such as JCT. You will have a construction related degree or equivalent. What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive basic salary, along with a local government pension. You will be able to work a flexible working week on a 37 hour contract.
