Assistant or Intermediate QS - Sponsored Degree available c£25-45k plus package Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, Brilliant career prospects, £25-45k plus extensive package Your new company This multi-award-winning contractor based in Bristol have been established nearly 20 years and managed steady, controlled growth year on year. Currently with a turnover in excess of £50m and a healthy profit margin, they are looking to expand their commercial management team. They have forged an excellent reputation for delivering quality projects across the south of the UK specialising in internal refurbishments and small scale new build projects across commercial, residential and retail sectors. They have a strong team who are mostly long serving with the company and a real ethos of team working and treating people in the right way. Your new role As an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor you will manage the commercial delivery of a portfolio of construction projects within the operating area outlined above with values usually between £500k-5m. You will report to a Senior Quantity Surveyor who you will support and learn from until you are able to manage projects alone. You will be office based in Bristol with occasional visits to sites. Your primary goal will be to deliver each project to the client's expectations, on time, on budget and with a profit. What you'll need to succeed For the best chance of success with this role you will have some experience within a Trainee or Assistant level Quantity Surveyor role. You will likely live local to Bristol and be happy to travel to sites further afield with very occasional overnight stays if required. You will have a genuine passion for construction and a track record of projects successfully delivered. You will likely hold a degree in commercial management or a HNC/ONC in construction. You will be confident in dealing with subcontractors, clients and the public. Finally, you will be well organised and manage your time well alongside a sound overall knowledge of the construction process.
