Chartered Quantity Surveyor (Retail projects)
Overview
THE ROLE I am seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join a go-ahead firm of Private practice quantity surveying and project management consultants in the City of London. Projects are for large retailers and commercial clients. My client will consider either intermediate or senior level candidates who should be working for another firm of PQS and who are MRICS qualified. Previous experience of Retail projects is essential for this role. THE COMPANY My client is a medium sized firm of quantity surveyors and project management consultants with offices London and the Midlands. THE CANDIDATE You will be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and you will be from recently chartered through to senior level. You will need experience of all pre and post contract work. You should be working for another firm of PQS. You must be able to run your own projects from inception to completion. Good client facing skills are a must to directly deal with a large prestigious retailer. Previous experience of retail shops (fit out, refurbishment and new build) is essential.
