To enhance our team in London, Canary Wharf and starting immediately, we are currently seeking an Head of Accounting and Group Reporting, with at least 10 years experience in a similar role. Your tasks: · Manage and improve the Accounting team ensuring all work is completed within time and accurately · Develop and improve the Group's consolidation reporting function · Own the group consolidation process of preparing the consolidated international group accounts across c110 entities · Lead the preparation of group statutory audit, and liaise with the external audit · Review the statutory and management accounts of UK entities · Ensuring all shareholder agreements are in place and reflect the business relationship · Ensure new accounting policies are documented, implemented and are in line with Global Group & Statutory standards · Ensure the teams are continuously driven forward in an innovative manner through involvement Your profile: · Fully qualified accountant, ACA/ACCA or equivalent including a reputable accountancy practice · Extensive knowledge of GAAP (UK GAAP essential) and IFRS · Experience of consolidating a large number of entities- subsidiaries and complex inter-company transactions · Basic experience of Corporation Tax · Solid/proven team management skills with the ability to lead, train, motivate, challenge others · Problem solving, innovative thinking, excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Advanced Excel skills, MS NAV would be an advantage Who are we looking for: · People who want to help shape the company and make a difference · People who are passionate about their day-to-day work · People who have a willingness to develop their existing strengths and talents · People who like to face the exciting challenges in an international corporation · People for whom responsible, respectful coexistence is a matter of course · People who value an exchange of ideas on a global scale What we can offer: · Fast paced working environment with new and exciting projects · Very modern office space, just a short walk from Canary Wharf station and countless amenities · Constantly demanding and interesting tasks · Professional employee and career development · Appreciative, trust-based corporate culture · Professional and personal development through the internal myWorld Academy and eCademy · Welcome gifts, and welcome days. · 24 days paid holiday per year (plus Bank Holiday) · Regular social events If you can identify with the above, then you are already on the right track to starting a long and enjoyable career with a successful company that is growing on a global scale.
