Data Engineer - Croydon £50,000 – £85,000 package This role is with a fast growing and established Data Consultancy in London, where you will be working on-site with some of the country’s top Tech/Data teams. Most of their clients sit in Fintech and Retail sectors and have the most modern tech environments in the UK. You will deploy production ready Cloud and Big Data systems and thus, need proven experience in ETL, Data Development, Data Warehousing and Migration. You will be working alongside the Data Science, Big Data, and Cloud teams on exciting, diverse projects and through your work, you will have the chance to shape how the Data Engineering role looks in the future. Tools and Technologies: •Build and design large scale real-time and batch data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Spark or Kafka. •Programming knowledge in one or more languages e.g. PySpark, Python, Scala. •Implement cloud technologies such as GCP, Azure or AWS. •Commercial experience with Big Data platforms Step into a new, exciting and challenging role where you will play a big part in the development of modern data platforms across London.
