Financial Reporting Manager £45,000 - £55,000, Bonus plus benefits Hamilton Woods Associates are assisting an amazing, US owned manufacturing business, looking to appoint a technically strong, Financial Reporting Manager to work closely with the FC and other members of the department to develop, implement and manage accounting functions and processes accurately. CLIENT: A diverse and growing global US owned leading manufacturer whom pride themselves on their ability to offer a high quality product range covering multiple disciplines across the UK, Europe, Asia and US. DUTIES Develop and implement solutions to daily/ monthly accounting issues where procedures may not be well defined, documenting, improving, and automating the financial reporting, closing and account analysis process to increase efficiency. Support the consolidation process and preparation of financial statements. Responsible for preparing more complex journal entries and account reconciliations, supporting timely and accurate monthly closings. Based on analyses, takes corrective actions including recommendation of system, process or training changes. Support year-end audit with analysis & schedules for financial statement schedules. Prepare month end pack for monthly close. Overall responsibility of AR and or AP process, ensuring customer receipts and/or payments are processed in a timely manner. Provides guidance, direction and coaching to employees to ensure the team reaches their fullest potential and the department is operating efficiently & effectively. Provides treasury management oversight, including short/long term cash forecasts and monthly cash reconcilliations. Accountable/responsible for ensuring payroll processing in accordance with local standards/obligations. EXPERIENCE: A fully qualified (ACA, ACCA) practice trained technical accountant with post qualification experience, looking to make either a 1st or 2nd move within Industry. Progressive track record of successfully operating at manager level within a fast-paced environment. Strong IT and systems knowledge with a skill set to effectively implement financial software projects Strong communication skills with the capability to communicate confidently internally & externally Strong attention to detail and ability to report accurately with a desire to dig into variances and understand and fix root cause High levels of professionalism, integrity and ethical awareness Determined and resilient, with the drive to complete tasks OFFER: £45,000 - £55,000 15% Bonus plus Benefits This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89764533
