Overview
Financial Controller, Leicester Our client, a growing business based in North Leicester, is currently looking to recruit an Financial Controller with a manufacturing background on a permanent basis. Working within a busy environment, the successful candidate will be working closely with the MD and other stakeholders within the business. Full responsibility of finance, system implementation, costing and price negotiations Full ownership of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-flow [working capital], Capex spend, Budgets & quarterly forecasts and banking covenants Working closely with the MD on the operational and strategic restructuring of the business, driving the financial turnaround and new business development opportunities Implement a robust costing model to identify and rectify loss making customer contracts. In addition to assist new business development opportunities and successfully lead pricing discussions to win new customer contracts Manage a small accounts team and future recruitment needs The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving processes and be someone who really wants to make a difference in a growing business. Essential Skills and Experience: Commercially minded Highly confident and organised with strong communication skills Attention to detail & accuracy Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Qualified by Experience or Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience: CIMA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified Manufacturing experience Food manufacturing Sage Line 50 Package Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday Holidays: 20 days stat Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 dependent upon experience Auto Enrolment Pension Parking Uniform Lunch is provided to staff members every Friday If you're interested & think you're suitable for this opportunity, please apply online or call Paul Mitchell Associates (quoting ref: 11349) on
