Overview
Are you looking for a Financial Controller position that will help you take the step to FD in the future? We are working with a growing company to appoint a Divisional Financial Controller to a hands on position leading a small finance team at a divisional level. This will really appeal to you if you are looking bolster your experience and work towards that no1 finance position over the next 2-4 years. In terms of experience it will be likely you that you will have already performed a Finance Manager / Company Accountant position in a divisional structure. You will have experience of: Delivering the monthly reporting cycle to tight deadlines Taking the statutory accounts up to audit and managing this process Processing and managing the EC Sales, Intrastat and overseeing the FX working with central treasury. Bringing the statutory accounts up to date along with assessing current processes, procedures and systems and bringing these in line with current ways of working Partnering with an ambitioius leadership team and board to support growth and development This is an extremely varied position and whilst the technical aspects of this position are important, you must have the drive and interpersonal skills to work with ambitious board level colleagues to help them drive the business and UK operation forward.
