Overview
Our client is currently looking for an Electronics Engineer to join their team ASAP. The successful candidate will be required to design, maintain, value and provide technical support to the Organisations products. As part of the New Product Development team, you will develop products with specific responsibility for electronics and provide technical support for on-site manufacturing and tests. As well as that you will be: · Providing technical information and answer technical questions from within and outside the company · Designing and developing new products/software providing suitable production information for their manufacture and up-keep · Completing projects within the dates and costs specified · Estimating, designing, modifying and building products in line with the Organisations procedures, maintaining specification and estimated costs · Providing technical information to assist in the generation of manuals · Training internal staff on relevant products · Available for ISO9001 duties as requested by the Product Development Manager · Up-keep of software database/production of software as required · CE marking including EMC compatibility The successful Candidate will have: · Ideally 5 years Electronic design experience · Good fundamental engineering knowledge and knowledge of design best practise · Relevant electrical engineering qualification (min. HND) · Use CAD packages to create schematics and product assembly drawings and artworks. · Knowledge of control systems, sensors and instrumentation. · Knowledge of control panel layout and design. · All round general knowledge of electrical/electronic disciplines. · Good communication and interpersonal skills · A good team player able to use initiative to deliver high quality results to tight deadlines £35,000- £45,000 per annum Easily commutable from Derby, Nottingham and Leicester areas Working hours: 8am-4.30pm Mon-Thursday 8am-1pm on Friday Generous holiday entitlement Pension This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89762776
