Overview
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced 3rd Line IT Technical Support Analyst to work with a forward-thinking company in Essex with a lot of exciting projects on the horizon. My client works in partnership with businesses to deliver secure and compliant IT and Communication solutions. They are looking for a 3rd Line Analyst with a proactive and preventative approach to delivering technical solutions. This role is primarily office based but may also require visiting customers offsite mainly in Essex & Kent but potentially across the UK, so a driving licence is needed. What you'll be doing: - Work as part of the Service Desk team and independently - Assist with the management of projects including domain / office 365 migrations - Consulting with customers on projects - Provide responsive onsite & remote support to a 3rd line level - Develop a high-level understanding of the company's core products - Gain a high-level understanding of their customers and their specific requirements - Accurately record necessary information into our Service Desk system - Deliver above and beyond on SLA's What we need from you: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proven track record in excellent customer service - High level of attention to detail - Excellent Microsoft Server Operating System knowledge (2008, 2012, 2016 and 2019) - Excellent Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems knowledge (7, 8 and 10) - Experience with Cloud Technologies (Azure, Amazon AWS) - Experience of Virtualization solutions (Hyper-V and VMware) - VoIP Telephony solutions (3CX ideally) - Experience of Microsoft Office 365 core products & migration - Backup technologies (Veeam ideally) - Experience of Firewalls and general Networking (FortiGate ideally) - Experience of Remote Monitoring and Management Systems (RMM) What's in it for you?
