Overview
Systems Architect Triad has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Architect to join our client's team on a permanent basis. You will be the hands-on Systems Architect who will be responsible for ensuring an architectural solution for our clients OSS/BSS systems, will meet business requirements and are attainable under current resource and infrastructure constraints. You will be involved in the hands-on development of BSS and OSS systems and you will be a subject matter to provide assistant to development teams, as well as, working closely with teams across the business collecting requirements and taking these through the full development lifecycle. Your duties will include: Being the Technical Lead in software design and implementation with experience of cloud and on-premise system architecture. Ensuring that OSS and BSS architectural solutions and systems meet the company's system requirements for reliability and cost-effectiveness, as well as, aligning with business strategy. OSS and BSS integration. Good technical understanding of today's environment and keeping up to date with emerging future technologies. Working with the BA team to gather other department requirements. Seek out system solutions that can be leveraged to meet the requirements of improved ways of workings. As the successful candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: Strong negotiating skills when dealing with internal customer, stakeholders, and colleagues. Excellent design and architecture experience with Experience with networking hardware protocols standards technologies e.g. TCP/IP firewalls switches routers, Sofos etc. is required. 5 years' experience as a system/ network administrator. 7 years' experience within Internet/ Telecoms/Fibre industry. 3-5 years of design authority experience is a must. Software development background with experience and ability to code, debug and review, Apex, Python, Javascript, PHP, Web frameworks. 5 years' experience in software development, both Agile and Waterfall. Experience in project and team management. Experience of networking topologies. Experience in working in an Agile development environment. Experience in Asset Management / GIS systems such as GE Small world, SpacialNet, or in house advantageous. High technical competency in OSS infrastructure architecture , both in Linux & Windows architecture, especially within the cloud.
