Overview
We are currently working on an opportunity for an employment solicitor with to join a leading national law firm in their Birmingham office. The role will involve a mixture of non-contentious and contentious employment work, and the successful candidate will enjoy a wide and varied workload. Working as part of a national team, supporting partner leads on more complex matters whilst being responsible for your own case load this role will iinclude: Advising on employer relations matters including internal disciplinary/grievance/capability processes, Reviewing policies and procedures and contracts, Advising on equalities obligations, Conduct of and/or support on Employment Tribunals, Advising on TUPE processes including inputting into drafting of commercial agreements, Delivering training on a broad range of employment issues and Supporting business development. The successful candidate will have a commercial outlook, and the ability to build excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
