Do you want broader employment exposure and a wide variety caseload acting for some a large client basis in several sectors? Well a new employment associate role is now available for a qualified associate to join a growing employment team in their Birmingham office and work on a broad caseload of non-contentious and contentious employment work About the role By joining this employment team, you will advise on contentious and non-contentious employment matters, supporting the partner whilst maintaining your own caseload. You would be advising on employee and employer relation matters including internal disciplinary and grievance processes, drafting employment policies and contracts, conducting work in the employment tribunal and advising on TUPE agreements. About the candidate Sound employment experience with at least 2 years PQE with a respectable firm Ability to complete contentious and non-contentious work Previous experience reviewing and drafting employment policies Advise on employer claims such as settlement negotiations Experience advising on employee claims such as redundancies and TUPE agreements Some experience or an interest in immigration law or Health & Safety law would be desirable.
