Overview

Due to ongoing success across the business, and a resulting increase in investment in IT, a marketing leading organisation are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their high performing Development team. The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for hands-on coding, as well as taking a leadership role on development projects, guiding the direction of the squad, mentoring more junior developers, and acting as a technical lead. Working within a customer-centric, commercial environment, the Senior Software Developer will be involved in a range of projects, including web and mobile applications, as well internal systems. Working as part of a cross-functional Scrum team, the Senior Software Developer will also be involved in the latest development frameworks and best practices, including continuous integration and deployment, automation, cloud, DevOps, etc. Key Skills: Strong C# .Net Development skills, ideally including MVC, ASP.Net, and .Net Framework 4 or .Net Core JavaScript skills, ideally with a modern framework, such as Angular, React, or Vue MS SQL experience Experience with Web APIs, RESTful APIs, and/or microservices would be highly beneficial Any Cloud experience (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) would be advantageous Strong Agile / Scrum experience Exposure to TDD and/or BDD would be beneficial Experience developing web or mobile applications would be preferred Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative development team A passion for IT, and a keen desire to be involved in the latest development tools and technologies Salary & Benefits: Basic salary up to £55,000 25 Days Holiday, plus bank holidays Company pension scheme Medical / Healthcare Life assurance Excellent training & career progression opportunities Additional flexible benefits & perks This is an exciting opportunity to join a technology focused organisation as a Senior Software Developer, working on high profile, industry-leading projects, working as part of an exceptionally strong Development team.
