Overview
I am currently on the lookout for a IT Support Engineer role based in York. This role is particularly appealing to someone with hands on experience of basic installation and maintenance of Network and Telephony Equipment. The role: · Configuration and installation of new IS infrastructure/equipment at all locations where required, and often at short notice. · Identifying and resolving faults with IT network and telephony equipment as they occur and dealing with them in a timely and efficient manner · Working remotely without supervision · Assist in identifying faults · Liaise with and accompany consultants/third parties on site visits · Working as a team to improve the service provided by Information Services · Due to the nature of the role candidates must be flexible as some weekend and after hours work may be required. What you'll need: · Full Clean Valid UK Driving License · Excellent Interpersonal skills · IT Literate with a good working knowledge · Good Troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude · Strong desire to learn new skills · Hands on experience of basic installation and maintenance of Network and Telephony Equipment · Proven record of ability to work on own initiative and efficiently plan their own time · Previous experience in a similar role is required If any of these points resonate with you then it would be great to setup a call and have a chat.
