Application Support Specialist - Maximo - Drax Selby - North Yorkshire Are you an experienced Application Support Specialist looking to join a well-established IT team and function, within an organisation playing a vital role in helping change the way energy is generated, supplied and used? If yes, Harvey Nash have the role for you as an Application Support Specialist in Maximo. Harvey Nash Leeds has partnered exclusively with Drax Group to deliver a campaign of technology roles within their well-established function - based in Selby, North Yorkshire. Drax Group is one of Britain's largest energy companies. It provides 12% of the country's renewable electricity - enough to power more than 6 million homes. Drax recognise that shifting away from coal-fuelled power is essential for clean air, healthy communities, sustainable economic growth, and a safe climate. As an Application Support Specialist, your primary focus will be to specify, develop, implement, monitor and maintain systems, tools and applications to facilitate business operations supporting and finding ways to improve any associated controls and processes. These will all be based around Maximo. The ideal candidate will have experience technically leading the support of business critical applications and the delivery and release of change. The role encompasses business awareness and understanding, proactive stakeholder management and communications and seeks to continually improve the customer experience. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of Maximo. An appreciation of the energy industry is also preferred.
