As a Support Worker for Yewdale you will have the following responsibilities: - Supporting residents to support themselves/encouraging independence. - Supporting with cognitive, physical or sensory impairments. - Work in accordance with care plans/support plans - Work in a person-centred way, respecting residents' dignity - Good communication and record keeping skills, ensuring confidentiality. - Understand keeping people safe from harm and knowing when to report. - Understand professional boundaries - Work well in partnership with others Requirements: Minimum of Level 2 in Health and Social Care Full Driving Licence (held for at least one year) for Yewdale Farm Applicants must be a minimum age of 18 Able to work shifts and be flexible including bank holidays, evenings and weekends Desirable but not essential Previous experience of support work and/or working with people with learning disabilities /mental health needs.
