Senior C&I Engineer
Overview
RDR are currently looking to recruit a Senior Control & Instrument Engineer on behalf of Engie Fabricom to be based either at their Grimsby office. This is a 6 month contract position and on offer is a competitive hourly rate. Overview for the Senior C&I Engineer: The Senior Control and Instrument Engineer has responsibility and accountability for successful execution of C&I Engineering and design activities on all allocated projects, contracts and work-packages. They will have responsibility over Functional Safety aspects of the projects and must have proven knowledge, through qualification, in functional Safety. Qualifications and Required Experience of the Senior C&I Engineer: Must have relevant (Degree level), professional/vocational qualification Proven knowledge, through qualification, in functional Safety (e.g. CEng, IEng, TUV Functional Safety Certified, TUV HAZOP & LOPA or similar) Experience in the process control industry previous experience in a Senior Control and Instrument Engineer role. Experience of carrying out checking, verification activities and functional safety assessments at stages one, two and three and the approach to resolving non-conformances with the standard.
