Head Of Engineering (JavaScript) - Ecommerce & Community - up to £95,000 The platform operates in 16 countries and generates 35,000,000 users a month across its 8 core marketplaces with plans to grow even further. They are currently moving away from an older monolith to nimbler Reactjs and Nodejs microservices extensively using AWS. It is their most exciting time to date as they are working on a range of Greenfield projects whilst keeping user traffic high on existing products. They are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead the technology transformation, set the engineering strategy, practices and provide architectural oversight. Your team consists of Engineers, QAs and Technical Architects, you will not only maximise the potential of each but create a healthy engineering culture that all can enjoy and contribute to. They are moving on a 2 stage process, an initial call with the CTO followed by a 90 minute onsite interview to meet the team, discuss the challenges they are facing and how your experience will help.
