Overview

Head of Business Development Private client The leading private client law firm is looking for a senior BD professional to head up their prestigious private client team. The role will see you acting as a strategic partner to the group and will be responsible for providing and driving high profile initiatives. The role reposts to the Director of BD and will be based in their London office. Role highlights; Develop and implement a private client relationship strategy and plan In conjunction with the practice heads, identify priority growth areas and help develop and implement BD plans, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategy Identify market opportunities and work with fee earners and the Head of Marketing and Business Development to develop and sell services Identify and target growth markets - working with the wider team to develop initiatives Conduct or commission and interpret market and competitor research to inform the private client relationship strategy and BD activity Proactively measure and analyse overall financial performance at client and referrer level Maintain and monitor relevant BD budgets to ensure appropriate expenditure and that the firm receives suitable return on investment Work with the Marketing team to plan targeted private client events and campaigns The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of the private client area and have a proven track record of innovation and idea generating.
