Overview
For more than 200 years, our global Financial Services Client has been helping people around the world connect with what matters most to them. The company is one of the world's leading financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small and middle-market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk management products and services. As part of the Banks Global Rebranding program, this role will project manage the Global Technology activities for the renaming of the legal entities covered by the program. The role will include the oversight of more than 300 applications as they define, develop, test and deliver changes required to ensure the successful completion of the renaming of the legal entity. The timescale of the project is aggressive with a Q4 2020 go-live date. The role will involve Project managing global teams to ensure they meet the milestones of the project. Working closely with Operations, Front Office, Technology and Enterprise leads to deliver on time, in budget and without drama. Creation and execution of the go-live runbook required for the go-live Monitor budget and milestones for all teams, escalating and resolving issues proactively. Use data to provide overview of status and identify issues for addressing/escalation. You will be working as part of an intentional team, delivering legal entity name changes for a set of legal entities. These entities cover are global distributed and along with the delivery teams, requiring global coordination. The person selected will use existing project tracking tools to monitor the progress of milestones and budget within tight margins. The role will involve focusing teams on achieving their goals and identifying/resolving/escalating issues as required. The role will work with all areas of Global Markets and Banking, but will focus on the technology delivery. Essential Skills Demonstrable Project Management experience on globally distributed projects Understanding of standard project management practices Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain partner relationships Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written Demonstrable negotiation and influencing skills as required to ensure a teams deliver. Strong business and data analysis skills Nice to have Experience in delivering large scale change within banking environment Competencies The candidate should ideally have the ability to: Maintain the central project tracking tool both directly and through delegation to the tech teams Leverage data to measuring & monitoring progress (Metrics driven reporting/tracking is used extensively) Coordinating with multiple, cross location, teams Run large virtual meetings with senior stakeholders to resolve issues and track progress Serve as a liaison between the tech teams, program management, Operations and Business partners to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
