Overview
A leading Irish retail bookmaker are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to build their team from the ground up and to be a mentor to more junior data scientists in the process. The role will involve you playing a critical part in identifying key opportunities for predictive analytics and optimisation. Experience Profile: Substantial commercial experience in a Data Science role. A deep understanding of machine learning, statistics and the building of predictive models. Hands on experience in data manipulation and modelling (SQL, Python, R, and other data analysis and statistical packages). Excellent communication skills, strong commercial sense and analytical thinking. Roles and Responsibilities: Interact with business stakeholders to identify key opportunities for predictive analytics and optimisation. Build statistical models to maximise business value in Responsible Gambling, acquisition, trading, product management, CRM, Finance and VIP management.
