My client is an award winning accountancy practice in Newcastle who have a very strong reputation in the market place. They are looking to invite prospective tax professionals to apply for their newly created Senior Tax Manager appointment. A superb proposition for those working in either corporate, personal or mixed tax that are hungry to get involved in interesting advisory projects at the same time as advance their own personal career. This offers enviable client portfolio work, broadening your technical knowledge. Whilst this vacancy will see you working predominately in corporate and business tax, the client base requires a wider knowledge of all aspects of tax day to day which is why we are reaching out to a wider audience. We will consider interested parties in either tax provided you have an appetite to grow your knowledge in both areas. With a very small amount of oversight on tax compliance review, you will spend your time supporting the Partner group with their work. This can range from client proposals and meetings, tax planning, research and development and attending network seminars to strengthen and widen your relationships. No two projects will be the same and their OMB and SME client base across a range of sectors will keep the job interesting and challenging, however you can expect to find yourself involved in transaction and corporate finance work, succession planning, de-mergers, valuations, EMI & EIS to name but a few. We are looking for an experienced, senior and energetic professional already working in the local market with a background in either corporate, personal or mixed tax with CTA and or ACA/ACCA qualification. It is paramount we find the right people with the right attitude who are committed to advancing their career, can work hard and demonstrate their first class communication skills.
