Overview
We are currently seeking a Customer ServiceAccount Manager for a well-established, family-run SME to join their existing team in Stafford. The company supplies a complete range of cleaning products and PPE disposables to the B2B sector. The main responsibility as an Account Manager will be to deliver a complete customer care experience supporting the external sales team, together with some outgoing phone calls to assist in customer retention. The ability to make outgoing phone calls and initiate communications to create new prospect/sales opportunities would be a plus. You will help towards maintaining the company’s forward progress. Key responsibilities and duties of this role Responding to incoming sales enquiries Dealing with product queries and providing technical advice as required Responding to other customer enquiries and issues Ensuring customer details and communications are recorded on our CRM system Customer retention, and maintain & build GP margin Maintaining customers online accounts Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth Develop positive relationships with clients Be able to price-up, negotiate and provide support for external sales activities The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude Able to communicate and empathise with clients at all levels Strong rapport building Listen to and understand customer needs and pain points, then provide solutions Able to work with multiple parties Be able to prioritize your workload, with the ability to determine when matters need to be referred to your line manager for further assistance.
