Overview
Our FMCG client is looking for a Distribution Shift Manager who loves to find solutions, who ensures everything they do enables the company to deliver on the promises to their customers and exceed expectations whilst creating an inclusive team environment The role includes: Day to day management and planning of the distribution function, ensuring DC standards and targets are met. Input into Distributions cost budgets Staff recruitment / retention ? recruit, train and develop direct reports. Staff training and development plans, establishing distribution succession planning. Increase driver awareness to reduce accidents Communication Cascade (two-way) Distribution Centre Security Input into and implementation of Distribution & Operational strategy in line with Distribution Centre goals Management of Distribution assets Stock integrity Compliance with current Transport Legislation You?ll have: A CPC is required for this role ? in addition ideally, we are looking for people with the following skills and experience: ? 2 years supervisory experience within a distribution operation and a full understanding of current commercial vehicle legislation. ? Man management, commercial, analytical and communication skills. ? Change manager. ? PC and systems literate.
