Procurement and Commercial Manager job Your new company A large public sector organisation in Kent, currently undergoing a transformation of their procurement services. Your new role In your new job, you will be operating as commissioning lead, overseeing a portfolio of commissioning contracts within a specific commercial area and ensuring that you lead on contract management and procurement within that area. You will ensure in your job that you get best value for the team you're in. You will provide expert advice on procurement strategies, business plans, tender processes and contract management practices for all major projects. You will engage with stakeholders to drive and maintain collaboration and work with the senior management team to ensure that the business plans of the company are maintained. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in your new job, you'll need CIPS or be educated to degree level. You will need to show good experience of public sector procurement or have good commercial procurement experience. Your career will show evidence of stakeholder engagement at various levels and preferably an understanding of OJEU or frameworks. You will also have evidence of development of a procurement team.
