If interested in applying your skills within one of the largest insurers in the world with offices in 54 countries, a diverse working culture and excellent employee benefits then we would love to hear from you The Claims Business Analyst role will support the EMEA Claims Systems and Process Manager by providing business analysis for a wide range of projects in our claims department across Europe and the Middle East. The department covers the entire change lifecycle and the analyst will need to understand how Claims Adjusters currently use the claims systems, translate their business issues into business requirements, perform business readiness activities, and support the ongoing successful adoption of change. This may include post-go live user support, benefits tracking and Change Request identification. The activities are carried out for day to day BAU improvement initiatives, large system rollouts, change requests to the system or other claims business projects. Based within the Claims Operations department the role exists to facilitate the business's change needs. It is important that the analyst is comfortable working with our IT partners, but the role is primarily business focussed and is not an IT BA role. All deliverables must be produced in non-technical language. Occasional travel may be required for this role to London and across the EMEA region and would be driven by the project work, to support system rollouts and to ensure a strong working relationship across our Country Claims Managers and adjusters. Key accountabilities: Capture the business requirements for implementing change, analyse business issues, and document "As-Is" and "To Be" processes. Elicit requirements from Business partners; resolving complex requirements conflicts Prepare the requirements and other Business Analysis artefacts including but not limited to: proposals, evaluation of solutions, feasibility studies, benefits evaluation and tracking. Document and manage system Change Requests and develop Test Plans and undertake some business testing, where required. Deliver training on system functionality and correct claims process. Carry out business readiness duties including producing business communications and leading change workshops. Provide system and process support following go-live to ensure proper adoption of change Monitor change effectiveness using adoption monitoring, such as benefits tracking and Continually seek to maximise the systems and processes used within claims, through your detailed understanding of the business domain (Claims) and business roadmap. Required Experience: BA experience in a corporate organisation Requirements elicitation and creating Business Requirements Documents. Creating and delivering business training, including systems usage Test Experience: Creating User Acceptance Packs; reviewing IT test coverage; ability to perform UAT where appropriate. Process mapping, analysis and improvement Working with systems teams; implementations, migrations, upgrades and change requests Analytical skills, attention to detail, an effective communicator with good presentation skills Self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure Formal business analysis qualification or recognized insurance qualification (CII) is advantageous but not essential. Commercial Insurance knowledge and claims processing would be advantageous.
