Overview

esure are currently looking to recruit a Third Party Damage Specialists, to join our Motor Claims department in Glasgow. The TPD Claims Specialist’s role is primarily concerned with mitigating losses, negotiating and controlling costs, whilst delivering excellent customer service Responsibilities Focused on providing excellent customer service and empathy when dealing with our customers. Resolve basic complaints from customers and third parties within agreed company complaints procedure. Conduct all necessary enquiries and validate indemnity. Demonstrate a good understanding of liability and take necessary steps to investigate. Understand the key causes of litigation and the steps which can be taken to manage this. Gather all the relevant documentation in order to establish liability and appropriately assess all heads of claim including potential for Credit Hire and Personal Injury Identify potential large loss indicators to enable early escalation of appropriate cases to TCD. Skills/Experience It is essential that the jobholder has a detailed knowledge of general claims handling. Evidence of dealing with negotiating claims costs gained within an accident management, credit hire or insurance company are essential. Front line support in a target driven role. Influencing and negotiating, in particular objection resolution. Computer skills (including the Internet). Knowledge of Claims processes and systems. Awareness of fraud indicators.
